We have a few important updates and announcements regarding hot lunch for cycle 3 - January and February.
1) There was communication that was sent the week before last regarding the reconciliation of e-transfers and hot lunch accounts being done after the ordering window had come to a close. Once the e-transfers are applied to the hot lunch account, it auto closes the accounts so there is no ability to make any changes to the orders. Because we had to remove the Nitza's Pizza vendor and schedule another vendor, we left the accounts unreconciled so parents are able to order for the new vendor. All students that have ordered hot lunch will receive their order, even if their account shows as unpaid! Accounts are being reconciled slowly this week!
2) Parent Council will be funding the Shrove Tuesday lunch of 2 pancakes, 2 sausages, syrup, and butter (ordered from A Cappella) for each student, staff member, and volunteer. The school is asking for a $2 donation to help offset the cost. Please consider supporting this school wide initiative! Pancakes and sausage will be served at regular lunch time!
3) **Please note** Treat days will be going back to being delivered at regular lunch time. We were asked to trial run the delivery of treat days after last recess and have made the decision to keep the delivery time as usual!

As we plan ahead for the next school year, we are excited to announce that we are looking for new members to join our Parent Council executive. This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved, share your ideas, and help shape our school community.
In addition to council members, we are also seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist with various events and activities throughout the year. Your support makes a huge difference and is greatly appreciated by both students and staff.
If you are interested in joining the Parent Council or volunteering, please let us know. We welcome all parents and guardians who would like to contribute their time and talents.
