Upcoming Parent Council and Fundraising Society Annual General Meeting:
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Parent Council and Fundraising Society Annual General Meeting (AGM). This is a great opportunity to learn more about our school community, share your ideas, and get involved in making a positive difference. The AGM will be held this Monday, September 15th at 6pm in the St. Nicholas Library. If you are unable to make it in person, a link will be sent out on Monday to attend virtually!
Our hot lunch program will begin in the next few weeks. For those that are new to hot lunch, the kinder classes will alternate each hot lunch date so that both classes have the opportunity to participate. Hot lunch will be delivered for 11:30 and delivered to the classrooms for lunch time. Treat days will be delivered for 1:30 and delivered to the classrooms after the last recess.
Our vendors for September and October are as follows:
Sept 26 (Fri) - UK Kinder - Hot Lunch - Popeyes
Oct 2 (Thurs) - EN Kinder - Hot Lunch - A Cappella - Pancakes and Sausage
Oct 10 (Fri) - UK Kinder - Treat Day - Italian Centre
Oct 16 (Thurs) - EN Kinder - Hot Lunch - Canadian Brew House
Oct 31 (Fri) - UK Kinder - Hot Lunch - Nitza’s Pizza
Orders will be accepted Friday, September 5th to Thursday, September 18th. Any orders after Thursday, September 18th will not be accepted. Payments are accepted via e-transfer only to st.nicholaspac@gmail.com
* Pre K classes have been added to the hot lunch website! If your child is a Pre K class (English or Ukrainian) they are welcome to order lunch as well! *
*** Enrichment Classes - please reach out to me at st.nicholaspac@gmail.com if you would like to order on a day your student attends the Enrichment Program! ***
Please note that there may be food allergens or products that can cause sensitivities (peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, gluten etc) served by each vendor. Unfortunately, while we do our best to accommodate everyone's dietary needs, some vendors may not be able to offer menu items that are completely allergen free or have options that are dairy or gluten free. Please use discretion when ordering if your child has a sensitivity or allergy.
Please consider adding a $2 donation to help fund hot lunches for our St. Nicholas families. Last year, because of our school community, 122 hot lunches were donated to students!

Our school is fundraising with Mabel’s Labels!
If you’re not familiar with Mabel’s Labels, they are personalized, durable, waterproof labels. They are great for everything from shoes, clothing tags, water bottles and backpacks. You can customize them with your name and a design, and they are dishwasher, laundry and microwave safe.
